严格说只有一个最重要的重要性，那就是，英语的词汇量全都是英语的，跟汉字毫无关系！

细说：

音：就是发音，英文叫做拼音文字，有点像汉语拼音，基本用不着音标就能拼出来发音。

形：就是拼写，英文受到历史变化的影响，有些音-形不一致，但是这是跟其他印欧语言比较而言，基本还是守规律的。另只有不到100个符号，好写。

义：就是每个单词的词义，注意英文单词的词义是英文的，全英词典里面的，不是中文的，才有可能学明白。

用：就是用法，也要注意，英文的用法在英文的语境中，跟中文毫无关系！

明白了这四点，就有学明白英文的那一天了！

英语单词是英语王国的砖头，没有砖头，无法盖房子，没有单词，无法学好英语。
